With all the General Motors dealership closures going on… and given the less than credible reputation of many of the dealerships within the Durham Region of Ontario, I am at a total loss to know who to trust with my new car purchase.

I have heard so many horror stories like: customers being charged for oil changes that never took place (chalked tires, plus video footage proved several cases); major repairs supposedly done under warranty and charged back to General Motors, when in fact the repairs were never really done; and/or a flat out refusal to make repairs under warranty… like brakes of a vehicle under a recall. Please, if YOU know of a trustworthy dealership, do tell!
Yikes! And then there’s this reason: GM will keep about 600 dealerships slated to be dropped from sales network
