Recently a co-worker told me of his bad experience with what appeared to be his internet connection. He told me that when he called for tech-support they discovered that he had never (in over 2 years worth of moderate surfin’ of the internet) deleted the cookies his browser accumulated. This caused his browser to lock up, and masquerade the issue as a failure to connect to the internet. Now how nasty is that?
You might want to take action in removing your IE browser’s cookies NOW rather than wait until YOU have a similar or the same issue. And, here’s how you do that…
…then:
…and then…

In the Delete Browser History make sure to click on the box beside Cookies, and then click on the Delete button, as shown above.
Once the browser has completely deleted the items you have selected (the above image shows what I choose to delete on a regular basis) then you will see this window closes, and you are back to the Internet Options again, where you will click on the OK button, returning you to your browser.
In the Internet Options, it might be even be easier to just click on the box beside “Delete browsing history on exit” (above the Delete button), making sure the check mark appears, and then click the OK button. That way you wouldn’t need to worry about your browser cookies cluttering up your computer.
